15 vehicles were taken off the market by this fraudster.
A Michigan man is in deep with the federal government as he allegedly used a stolen identity to defraud several dealerships in the state. A total of 15 vehicles, with an estimated worth of $201k were involved in the scheme. So if you’ve been car shopping lately and noticed the lots are pretty thin, this guy is seriously not helping the problem.

Eddie E. Hendrickson bought a 2018 Dodge Charger with a stolen social security number, and never made a payment on his $36,468.70 loan. This was the fifth loan he got like this, and there were 8 more opened after. In all, a total of 15 loans would be opened form nine different dealerships, totaling $201,080.12.

•2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee from Champion Chrysler Jeep Dodge RAM: $21,658
•Two 2020 Polaris Outlaw ATVs from Shiawassee Sports Center: $7,439.88
•2015 Dodge Ram 1500 Rebel from Champion Chrysler: $26,267.64
•2019 Dodge Charger from Extreme Dodge: $36,186
•Two 2019 Honda ATVs on a credit card that was issued at Genthe Power Sport in Southgate. He also bought a 2019 Honda motorcycle via a Honda Finance credit application: $17,637.32
•2019 Honda motorcycle from Bay Cycle Sales in Bangor Township: $12,459.04
•2019 Honda motorcycle from Nord-Ride Motorsports in Mt. Morris: $4,400
Two of the cars were tracked to a Flint address, where a man at the location said he was storing them for Hendrickson. When he was finally caught, he was charged with identity theft, aggravated identity theft, and bank fraud. He faces a total sentence nearing 50 years in prison on the combined charges.
