#10 PCD–M4 Cabrio Tanzanite Blue Over Full Silverstone
[ad_1]

The Build Specs:
Tanzanite Blue II
Silverstone/Black Full Merino
Carbon Fiber Trim
Packages/Options:
Standard M Seats, as I opted for ventilated front seats and the neck warmer — a must for 12 month top drop down driving.
Executive Package
Parking Assistance Package
Icon Adaptive LED Headlights with Laserlight
M Shadowline Lights
M Drive Professional (worth it so far when 2wd is selected to dial in the rears)
Style 826 M – full on black
Tires: MICHELIN Pilot Sport 4S (lottery prevailed )
Missing options:
Wireless Charging (no big deal as only overheats your iPhone– 1st hand experience as my ’21 X5M comp has this and I hardly use)
Build Logistics:
My previous F83 ZCP MY 2020 replacement was cancelled at status 112 when COVID hit then was ‘resuscitated’ with different production number, but was missing options that I declined the build at its was at EOP and waited for the G83.
I e-mailed my long time SM 1 month prior to SOP for the G83 and had an allocation late September 2021 for a week 41 build. Production started on time and shipped fairly quickly. However, there was a 25 day stop sale for the RAM at the CHS VPC.
Initial Impressions:
Feels more dialed in than the previous F83, but could be also that I have been only driving my ’21 X5M comp the past 18 months. However, the exhaust is too quiet. Interior is a major let down compared to my X5M comp.
Mods:
None. As I learned my lesson from my F83 when I had a Stage II tune installed during my ED and sunk $15,000 between the tune and SCP repair. No PPE/ceramic as I lease and get a new factory paint job every 3 years.
As always, the PCD staff and experience is outstanding, as I enjoy flying up to GSP from CHS via ATL every 18 months to say hi to the PCD staff.
PCD dinner menu to wet your appetite.
