This will be the third C8 Corvette Stingray offered and the Dream Giveaway decided to do a little departure from the previous cars by ordering a tastefully-optioned Z51 Coupe without a rear wing for a more streamlined, exotic appearance. The Red Mist Metallic Coupe comes with an Adrenaline Red/Black interior and its window sticker shows an MSRP of $87,615.
The Dream Giveaway never skimps when ordering their dream cars and the Stingray comes with all the goodies you want including the 3LT premium equipment package plus Z51, Magnetic Ride Control, and Front Axle Lift. The Z51 Performance Package includes additional engine cooling, bigger brakes and suspension components, an electronic limited-slip differential, performance rear axle, Michelin’s summer performance tires, and NPP Performance Exhaust. The interior will also have some nice custom features with interior trim, two-tone seats, and red stitching throughout the cabin.
Let’s talk about the upgrades you’ll see on this Stingray Coupe. The 2022 Corvette will be sent off to Lingenfelter Performance Engineering where the 495-hp LT2 V8 will undergo an upgrade to 560-hp thanks to the LPE carbon fiber intake, specially tuned throttle body, and a performance exhaust from CORSA. The Corvette will also have a custom lowering kit, special graphics, and a custom wheel and tire package from BBS and Continental Tires.
In addition to taking home the C8 rock star, the Corvette Dream Giveaway for 2022 also includes the legendary 1965 Corvette Sting Ray Sport Coupe with its highly sought-after 396ci V8! The NCRS Shipping Report shows the Corvette was produced on May 11, 1965, and was ordered through the Chevrolet Corporate Zone Office in Syracuse, NY
This classic 1965 model is just as heavily optioned as its C8 companion with the one-year-only 396/425-V8 engine coupled to a 4-speed manual transmission. Options include power steering, power disc brakes, transistorized ignition, Knockoff wheels, Teakwood steering wheel, AM/FM Radio, power antenna and Soft Ray tinted glass.
The C2 Sport Coupe has undergone a full body-off restoration and was repainted with the same DuPont paint code used by General Motors in 1965. During the restoration, the chrome was triple-plated while the interior was incredibly detailed. The original gauge cluster, clock, and radio were all restored and the rolling chassis was assembled to NCRS specifications. The matching-numbers engine and transmission were both professionally rebuilt and tested before they were put back into the car.
Sponsored by Continental tires, Lingenfelter Performance Engineering, BBS Wheels, and Backyard Buddy Automotive Lifts, the 2022 Corvette Dream Giveaway is a national sweepstakes with proceeds going to a number of well-known charities across the USA with the main beneficiary being the New Beginning Children’s Homes, a 501(c)(3) organization which provides family-focused living accommodations for abused, neglected or orphaned children. The Corvette Dream Giveaway also supports a number of well-known and respected charities including Honor Flight of West Central Florida, the National Guard Education Foundation, Smile Network International, Mothers Against Drunk Driving, Detroit Rescue Mission Ministries, 4Kids, and Bright Pink.
Dream Giveaway winners come from all walks of life, including policemen, factory workers, active and retired military servicemen, mailmen, medical professionals, and a whole lot more. Let it be your turn to win the grand-prize package of a lifetime!
